Genesis 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11

God set aside the seventh day to gloriously reflect on his Creation. He has gifted us Sabbath rest so that we joyfully do the same until Christ returns.

With profound clarity and concision, the first eleven chapters of Genesis display the glory and being of the eternal Creator, the goodness and beauty of His creation, and His special relationship with His created image-bearers. In this series we will see humanity in all of its beautiful fullness and terrifying depravity, and our covenant-making, merciful God who will not abandon His creatures.
