In the four Biblical Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), a full third of the material focuses exclusively on Jesus’ final week. As we build towards our annual celebration of the greatest day ever – Resurrection Sunday – we will look at the end of Jesus’ life in Matthew’s Gospel. This end is actually the beginning – of King Jesus’ reign, of life eternal, of the church, and of the mission of every Christian. On Sunday, March 19th we learn that God is unfairly generous with all of us, offering free but costly grace that leads us to spend our lives laboring for Him.
