The book of Hebrews helps us to prioritize Jesus above all and to persevere until the end. As we return to our series “Simply the best: The Book of Hebrews” we learn that all of the Old Testament points to Jesus, the One who is our mediator, our great high priest, the founder of our salvation. He is simply the best, and therefore we hold on to Him until we see Him face to face. On Sunday, May 21st we learn that in an age of distrust and skepticism toward church leadership, Christians are to respond with obedience and submission. And all the while, we must pray the Lord continues to form them into the godly leaders we need.
