Noah, “blameless in his generation,” “righteous,” who “walked with God,” is also, as it turns out, a sinner in need of grace. We are the same, and this truth should lead us to “cover” the sins and faults of those whom we love especially, just as Jesus has covered our own sins.
With profound clarity and concision, the first eleven chapters of Genesis display the glory and being of the eternal Creator, the goodness and beauty of His creation, and His special relationship with His created image-bearers. In this series we will see humanity in all of its beautiful fullness and terrifying depravity, and our covenant-making, merciful God who will not abandon His creatures.
