The Church is the wide body of all who are in Christ Jesus throughout geography and chronology. Baptism is the sacrament that affirms membership in this body. Sharing the Gospel message and making disciples is the mission of this body.

The Nicene Creed is the most important statement of Christian belief outside of Scripture. It was written to clarify who Jesus is in response to various competing claims about him, claims that would change Christianity altogether. It helped the Church stay grounded in biblical truth when under tremendous internal threat. This summer, we’ll study the Nicene Creed in a sermon series titled “Anchored in Truth” to better understand our Triune God and the faith we confess, and apply these truths to our lives today.
