FAQ: The Sacrament of Communion
The dining table is perhaps the most important piece of furniture in the home. Families gather and fellowship there, sharing meals and sharing life. In a special way, the same is true in the family of God. We gather at the table of our Lord, partaking as the family of God in our shared community meal. Together, we celebrate the sacrament of Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper.
On Sunday, December 14th, at 5pm, come and join us in the NAPC Sanctuary as we think deeply about this sacrament—the family meal we share as the body of Christ. We will explore many questions, such as: What do we believe about Communion? What is true and what is myth? Why is the Lord’s Supper so special and essential? What happens when we take it? Are there right or wrong ways, times, and places to celebrate this sacrament? No matter how long you have been taking the sacrament, we all have much to learn. We hope to see you there!
