2026 Confirmation: Student + Parent Interest Meeting

Confirmation is the process by which high school students can confirm their faith in our Lord. 

Confirmation classes will begin in January and conclude in late April. We will have 8 scheduled classes, all on Monday evenings 6-8pm, across that time frame. The scheduled dates are January 12th and 26th, February 9th and 23rd, March 9th and 23rd, and April 13th and 27th. Students will be able to miss up to two classes and still complete the program. For any missed classes, the student will simply complete the handout sheet and check it against an answer key provided to the parents.

During each class, we will have dinner together and would love for parents to rotate providing that, either by purchasing or making food for the students and teacher. After all classes have concluded, each student will have a 1:1 interview with Pastor David or myself. On Mother’s Day, May 10th, all Confirmation students who completed the program will participate in leading the worship services that day.

To begin this process, we will be holding an interest meeting for parents and students on October 5th at 12:45pm. This will be in the administrative office section of the church building. At this meeting, we will pass out the confirmation packet and answer any questions you or your students may have about the program.
